Go to Parabox. They sell 27cm and 60cm Obitsu dolls, which are highly posable and not resin.

Here is a Japanese Shi-Ki page (caution: doll nudity). This kit is no longer available new, but turns up on eBay, etc. I love the style of this doll! The hands, feet, and deltoids especially, and the lines of her legs. The hip construction is also interesting.
