For these Arctic scenes, we enlisted the help of our intrepid 1:6 scale team. Despite the
lack of appropriate props, and the frigid weather, they performed admirably. Thanks, gang!

After
freshening up, Camellia joins the gang for dinner and tells a little
bit about the latest expedition. "Aside from meeting up
with Koi-Lung, it was a pretty routine trip. The weather grounded
us a couple of times, but we stayed with families we had met before,
and we ate well enough, and brought back a number of nice hides, as
well as some stuff we traded the meat for.
"There
was just this one bad moment on the Warner glacier." She
shudders. "I'd rather not think about it. I had taken the
chopper down right near a new chasm that we had offered to map and get
data on, and as we came back down from a promontory, there was this
awful THING investigating the chopper. The radios we carried
didn't have the range to call for help. If it had tipped my bird
into the hole, I would not have been pleased."

Eh
bien, the Dalai Lama should be calling soon, for his ride. The
new Dalai Lama is quite sociable, and has a few friends in common with
the ladies, from their various travels.

"Anyway, I think you will like Koi-Lung. She's quite fit and interesting, and sounds like she will make an entertaining and well-mannered houseguest. So let me tell you about how Triliar ran into her."
